| ya, so for those of you who don't know.. I got a job as an LIT at Camp CEdarwood this summer... which means i'm away from tomorrow until pretty much august 30th. I'lll be in town on most saturday nights.. so make sure you reserve a couple for me. Other than that... YOU MUST WRITE ME LETERS! emails are okay too... but seriously.. if you write me a hand written letter it would totally brighten my day and i would FOR SURE write you back. I'm listening to: panic! at the disco
ok SO, dance festival is half done for me. I got bronze for my solo which kinda sucks, but i loved doing it. and i don't even care because everyone in my category was actully amazing. And i really need to step it up for next year. but i really like dancing. ALOT. that was wednesday. on friday i went to birdsd hill with some kids from mbci and made some fire exploding things. it was scary yet fun. After we went to BP and i locked my keys in my car and ended up at home more than an hour late for curfew. oops. saturday was jazz large group. we danced well and got silver. I was happy, some girls weren't thhough. Tehn i went out with Dani and we drove all over the city. Haha then we tried to take 77 pictures in 10 minutes and failed miserably. sunday i slept alot, then at night kyle had a bbq and i ended up partying with him and his friends all night. It was fun, lots of people i miss came over (jen B, jay, bryce..) today i learned to drive standard, and got the worst burn in the entire world. just think bad tan lines time 1000. ITs horrible. This week is gonna be crazy, dance fest.. recital.. provincials.. cedarwood interview.. i think it'll be good crazy though. wow, that was longer than i meant it to be. ANYWAYs.... peace out! | |||

| Dance festival tomorrow. i'm gonna pee my pants. NO LIE. last couple weeks included.... fun at moneen spontanious social action cookies and RV's LOTS of gymnastics (and almost as much dance) ice cream runs at 10pm (followed by some parking lot fun) goodbye hangout for monica. CB SHIRT IN THE MAIL (heaeded toward me) and numerous attempts (and fails at an id)... so i'm just gonna try to see Chad ID-less. Plus, lots of culture. the next 2 weeks are gonna be insane. If i go insane, i'm sorry in advance. peace out a town. | |||

| In case any of you were wondering.... i am not dead! i know, it's hard to believe. i'm just too cool for livejournal now..... Just kidding! i've just been travelling the world (montana, edmenton, brandon, altona.... the works!) BUT ANYWAYS: I am done my solo festival dance, it's hard and i pretty much die everytime i do it... but it's gonna be good once i get it. also, i am anxiously awaiting word from Cedarwood about an interview for Lit-ing. ALSO CHad Vangaalen is coming to winnipeg in may. it's 18+ but i'm totally gonna find a way to go anyways. Because if i don't i might just die. thats all folks. | |||

| Today mr. Ty asked me to do a solo jazz routine for the provincial dance festival. I'm not too sure how many other girls he asked, but it pretty much MADE MY WHOLE YEAR. i dont think i'll be able to stop smiling for a week. | |||

| So last night i got home from florida. it was pretty hot. (literally! haha! i'm so funny.) We did pretty much all that stuff i'm normally against, you know - the whole anti-corporate side of me had to go into hibernation for a bit.. but i'm not gonna lie, it was freaken fun. Disney world? so cool. Parts of it were a little too American-soilder-pride for my likings, but that happens. so anyways, we hit up all the theme parks, went to daytona beach (which was a crazy dump with a whole lotta 50-year old pot heads hitting on me), played a buncha' mini golf (the courses are so intense in orlando), saw cirque du soilel! (unbelieveable!), ate out ALOT. and shopped a fair bit too. They had this Virgin records megastore which was the size of polo's hmv x 4. and that was only the cd part, so i picked up some cds you can only ever get in winnipeg if you order them in (the chariot, cartel, mountain goats, mewithoutyou). and i bought the dopest belt you've ever seen. i promise. yay for vacations? boo for back to school tomorrow and i'm not done any homewrok. Double Boo for this being pastor phil's last service tonight. Thats all. PEACE out A town. ps. at the label gallery they have a "human rights" exhibit on now, i havent seen it but i bet it's pretty darn good. you should all go. | |||

| I'm moving. like, 5 minutes away from my house, and not unitl august 25th, but it's still a huge change. I dont know what to feel. i've lived here my whole life, this house is comfort. I dont want a new home, but i guess it is exciting. Also, i got the key to my family's new car today. IT's to share mostly between my brother and i, and i'm stoked. it's not very nice, and i have to put some cds on to tapes, but as long as i can get around i'm glad. Girls night was hilarious last night. Best night in awhile. My friends are too cool. Disney trivia and the notebook anyone? what an awesoem time. And the hardest hitting news i've heard in awhile.... our youth pastor is leaving surge. It hit some kids who are more involved harder than it hit me, but i'm still kind of shocked. It's gonna be a huge change for our youth, and we were growing together so well for the last while. Pastor Phil has been a huge part of my life. HUGE. You never do realize how much someone means to you until they're gone or leaving. Apparently it was an intensly emotional service last night, and i'm kind of sorry i missed it. It's just so schocking. well i guess thats all. a lot of change in the near future. Peace Out A town. | |||

| ok so TODAY: -jazz went unusually fast - i owned pingpong in pfr -philosophy involved 6 of us in couches discussing the future and the state of the world. -english, i laughed. alot, and really hard. Funniest class ever. p.s. our gangster macbeth is amazing and we're CLEARLY doing shakesphere a favor by improving his play. -PEOPLE SIGNED UP FOR LIVE AID! woo hoo! it's not gonna bomb after all! -JULIE AND I HAD THE BEST PLAY DATE EVER! first i hid when she came to my house and sneak attacked her, then we built a wicked fort and had some super snowball fights. then we ran into the field and tackled eeach other and tryed to do headstands and made snowangels and there was more throwing of snow. Then inside for some nice hot chocolate! and we're totally gonna do it again with more people, because it rocked my world. THEN... (i know what you're thinking, "how could this day POSSIBLY get any better?" oh, but it did, let me tell you it did. because next I.....) FINALLY GOT TO HEAR SOME PIMP DOUGH! wow. i laughed. hard. again. I think it is possibly 100 times worse than i imagined it'd be. and thats pretty freakin bad. 1) I freakin LOVE nasal voices. I can never get enough. John Darnielle should marry me.2)School was open, but oh so pointless, so i left. Now i'm enjoying a snow day. 3) This weekend was pure relaxing. Some moives and guitar and reading. it was nice. 4)I love the mountain goats. Alot. 5) lisa and i are cool kids. our life is myspace. like all the other cool kids. (umm. not?) 6) Friday is youth.. or shannon and ragpickers... what a choice. 7)it's time to go play in the snow. | |||

| today my team at youth won both the gym games. ya.. We owned. It was bring a friend night and there were a ton of kids. After andrea and i went to tim hortins. yeserday was rememberance day services all day. and then i skipped english and ms thompson saw me twice. Then i went to a very small food not bombs, and saw the wicked new posters that got put up everywhere (the best one is the one covering the army recruitment sign in the bus shack) Then dance and after Adam Globa came over and we made some cake-cookies and played guitar on my kitchen floor. I cant remember any details of my week before yesterday. Thats pretty sad. ( Time for a survey i stole from cassandra... you know you want to read it...what better things do you have to do? none! ) Peace Out A Town. | |||

| Thursday: -food not bombs ws lovely but cold! My new bus friend keith is the best. -saw CRWONS. so good. crazy gospel and lotsa nice hats! Friday - Sunday: OFF TO CEDARWOOD! So i went out, roomed with andrea, krysten, jordyn, kristi, chantel, ronalee, bonnie and kristen. Had a blast, learned a lot, bonded lots. some memorable moments you ask?.... -when we got blue juice AND blue jell-o at the same meal. - this biggest game of swat i've ever see. - SUCKING at football, but having a blast. - the annual talent show, of course. - late night kitchen talks - nature walk (well, nature sit) in the rain - some massive wedgies. So, all in all, great weekend with some great people. I dont' think i'll ever come to a point where i'll actually want to LEAVE cedarwood. Today: super long. i fel asleep in english. but NO MORE MACBETH QUESTIONS! woo hoo! sometimes ambushing the student teacher does wonders. Thats all. pictures when i get them from jordyn. | So halloween came and went... and nothing exciting happend. Dance class was okay, but they didnt even give us a treat!! Today was nice and short. GC live aid is gonna own your face. I love activists. SURGE RETREAT THIS WEEK. i'm pumped like mad. And possibly the CWOOD girls snowboard trip on spring break? that would be a blast. ...and of course some pictures of my new body art. | Ok since no one guessed the pizza's jil posted them. You all suck. Oh ya, dani is smoked ham and sundried tomato and mat z is bacon and peporoni. This week was good. I get my tattoo halloween. the dance was not so great. Today i spent most of the day with the environmental speakers. Then i went to Food Not Bombs and had honestly the best pizza i've ever had EVER. like.. wow. THEN (here's an interesting story) so this guy just come up and starts talking to us, and he starts talking about 'his band' which is OVER IT, a band i deffinately know. Random band from california that i accidentally discovered. So we talk for like 45 mins. He hits on me LIKE CRAZY, apparently he's going on all these tours and crap. (he's extrememly cocky too) so i get home and i got to listen to some 'over it' just cuz, you know.. it went with the night. And i'm looking through their pictures on their PV and hes not in any of them... then i read the bio and it says nothing about any TOm's. So uhh.. either they deleted anything about them cuz he moved up here.. OR he lied to me the whole time... what a creep? haaha it was WEEEEEIrRD. time for danc now. PEACE A-T. | |||
